Ingredients

A perfume begins with its materials.

HĀVN works exclusively with natural aromatic materials, including essential oils, absolutes, CO₂ extracts, resins, tinctures and natural isolates. We do not use synthetic aroma chemicals.

Each material is chosen for its olfactive character, quality and provenance. Natural materials vary with species, origin, harvest and extraction. That variation is part of their character, and part of the work of composing with them.

With the exception of honeycomb tincture, HĀVN does not use animal-derived materials. When a material is certified organic we identify it specifically.

Every fragrance is formulated in-house and given time to mature before bottling. A complete ingredient list is published with each perfume, so the materials behind the fragrance remain visible.
